Davina: ‘Stop your BB bitching, snobs!’

Big Brother’s helmswoman Davina McCall has had enough of people slagging off the show – and has finally lashed back at its critics.
Having presented Big Brother since its birth 10 series ago, the 41-year-old said she’s flooded with messages from people who feel nothing but revulsion for the reality TV show.
“If you are, for some unknown reason, not enjoying BB please don’t tell me. It’s really harshing my mellow,” she moaned.
Davina also recently confirmed on her Twitter feed that there would be a Big Brother 11 next year: “Message to all. There is another BB next year. I am presenting it.” Very much to no one’s surprise.
This series has so far been a ratings disaster for Channel 4 with the average viewing figures hovering around the two million mark, a cool one million less than last year’s Big Brother.
“I’m really in the firing line,” Davina told Jonathon Ross last week. “Whenever I go out I get abuse from start to finish about presenting Big Brother. People are so snobby about it. It’s just an entertainment programme."
